I’ve returned home, once again, from Florence’s Pitti Uomo, the bi-annual menswear exhibit. Pitti Uomo congregates some of the world’s most fashionable men, to showcase menswear designers and brands. I always attend and as per usual, I always bring some italian influence to my outfits for Pitti Uomo.
All three looks called for a double-breasted element, which set the bar high in terms of classic Dandy-ism. And, I had to rep my favorite luxury shoe brand, Guidomaggi, for all three outfits. Summer is the time to wear light fabrics and colors. A double breasted suit, can be trickier when it comes to it. Fit is the most important aspect to wearing this suit. Make sure that the buttons always lay flat once they are buttoned up. A poor fit on a double breasted suit is always more noticeable. I look forward to attending next season. Keep an eye out for my next post, I’m heading to Las Vegas for another menswear exhibit.
What I’m wearing: Suit, Thomas Henry. Shoes, Guidomaggi.
