Pitti Uomo 90 just wrapped up and OMG I cannot even believe this is my 5th season there and I love it more and more with every season. Usually my fashion week menswear circuit consists of London Collection, Pitti Uomo, Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week; unfortunately, this season I couldn’t be at Milan or Paris due to my work schedule but I still made the most of it.
Pitti Uomo is one of the world’s most important platforms for men’s clothing and accessory collections, and in launching new projects and ideas in Men’s Fashion.
I felt like this season I ran into lot of new faces and these gentlemen are definitely pulling off some crazy outfits. I always love to wear something unique when attending Fashion Weeks and I had pleasure of working with few designers from Toronto. Always good to support local, especially when traveling abroad.
I can say so many things about Pitti Uomo but above all it’s always good to see so many well dressed men from all over the world. This particular look has a preppy 1930s feel to it. I went with a tailored short and a contrasting jacket and vest, which makes for a stylish summer look.
Pitti Uomo is a great place to show off Italian style and sensibilities. Wearing light fabrics like a linen jacket and tailored shorts is a great way to be stylish in the summer, but remaining cool in the heat.
For my third look I went for something a little more classic but keeping the colour and fabric of my suit light. The best way to complete any look is to add a great pair of sunglasses. Here I opted for the mirrored aviator which is white hot this summer.
